Steps To Create Lightning Web Component Using VS Code IDE

We would be using VS code IDE to create the Lightning web component. In case you wanted to configure or learn VS code you can refer to this post – VS Code IDE Set Up & Using VS Code IDE

Step 1: Connect your development org to the VS Code IDE. This is covered in the above links shared for VS Code IDE.

Step 2: Once your project is connected to your development org press Cmd + Shift + P (mac) or Ctrl + Shift + P (windows) and hit the command SFDX: Create Lightning Web Component

Step 3: Enter the file name for your Lightning Web Component

Step 4: Select the default option and hit enter

Post Step 4 you would see your Lightning Web Component created in VS Code Editor.
